Does Phase 5 provide free internet services?All condo owners have access to basic internet services within their unit and the cost is covered through your condo fees. Internet services are also available in the clubhouse and pool area for your convenience. While this service provides users with adequate coverage for email, web searching, Netflix, etc., it is not adequate for streaming services such as IPTV boxes (Diablo), which requires 5G services. Should you use streaming services on a regular basis, we recommend that you purchase personal internet services through a local provider.

Does Phase 5 offer social activities?Yes. Phase 5 holds a variety of social events during the year, for the benefit of all residents. In addition, residents can also participate in billards, shuffleboard and petanque tournaments. The calendar of events and how to purchase tickets, where applicable, can be found on the website or on the bulletin boards located in the breezeway locations of each building. How do I reserve a gazebo zone for a group function?If you have a group of 15 or more, you can reserve one or more gazebo zones by completing and submitting the Gazebo Reservation form.

Can I reserve the clubhouse for a social or personal event?Yes you can reserve the clubhouse for a personal or social event if there will be more than 15 people attending. Reservations will only be approved if more than 50% of the attendees are from Phase 5. To reserve the clubhouse, please complete the Gazebo/Clubhouse Reservation form

Can I use the BBQ's?Yes. Propane BBQs are available for use for all residents of the Phase 5 condo complex. Replacement propane tanks are available near the clubhouse and we ask that you place the empty tanks back in this location during replacement. For the benefit of other residents, we ask that you follow these best practices: 1. As there are a limited number of BBQs, the shared use of BBQs is encouraged when required 2. Clean the BBQ after use 3. Close the propane tank valve and replace the BBQ cover once it has cooled 4. Replace the propane tank, if it is empty

Why are volunteers needed?In order to reduce our overall operational costs to maintain our buildings and common areas, the various Phase 5 Board of Directors may from time to time, request the use of volunteers to carry-out general maintenance of the buildings and common areas. In addition, volunteers are always needed to support the various social activities carried out during the year . If you are able to provide your knowledge and/or assistance in carrying out these tasks, the Boards encourages and appreciates your involvement.

Can family and friends stay in my condo?Yes. When an owner is in residence, they may have guests occupy their unit as follows: a. Immediate family members: Owners can have immediate family members as guests for unlimited duration and frequency. b. Other guests: Owners can have other guests (non-family members) as guests for a maximum period of 60 days in any 12 month period. When the owner is not present they may allow guests to occupy their condo as follows: a. Immediate family members: Owners can have family members stay as guests for a specific period of time in any 12 month period, depending on which condo building you live in. Other guests: Owners can have other guests (non-family members) stay as guests for a specific period in any 12 month period, depending on which condo building you live in. Owners should always consult their condo's specific rules before allowing family or friends to occupy their condo. In the case of guests occupying the condo in the owner’s absence, the owner must obtain prior approval of the Board of Directors. Please consult the Resident's area for specific rules and access to the appropriate form to obtain this approval.

Can I rent my condo?Only seasonal rental of your condo is allowed and must comply to minimum and maximum periods. Owners who wish to rent their condo may only do so in accordance with their specific condo association rules and obtain Board of Director approval prior to occupancy. These condo specific rules and form can be found in the Resident Area of the website.

How do I post my condo for sale or rent on the Hawaiian Gardens Phase 5 website?Send an email to hgph5website@gmail.com with the following information: 1. Your contact information (name, email, phone number, as you want it to be displayed on the website) 2. Whether it is for sale or rent 3. Condo building and unit number 4. Number of bedrooms (i.e. 1 or 2) 5. Description of your condo 6. Asking or rental price 7. Pictures of your condo 8. If it is posted by a real estate agent, the link to their webpage. Once sold or rented, please ensure that you write back to let us know so we can take the posting down.
